It’s an amazing world we live in.
This is an advert that Marta made recently for an online competition from a generative AI firm called Runway.
This is very cool and it is all generated. The visuals, the sounds, the voices. My understanding is the advertising world is changing fast with all the AI generative tools that are becoming more and more sophisticated.
The story for Marta’s ad is made by people. In this case Marta and I. But the creation of the video is AI generated. Still, this does not mean that you simply press a button and presto, an advert is produced. It takes a lot of time and effort to create something like this. But budgets are not a limiting factor and with this approach your imagination can run wilder than ever.

Denis, a cool magician in Kyiv, shared this optical illusion on his YouTube page.
There is no red in this image. Not a pixel. But, it looks like a red Coca-Cola can.
Zoom in on the image – you won’t see any red.
Cool, hey !
A friend of mine, Don, made this video. Do yourself a favour and have a look – it is 16 minutes. Watch it on a laptop with earphones. You may be entertained or you may not be. But you will be amazed. This video was created with AI. Everything you will see and hear was generated. One guy created this using AI technology, talent and inspiration.
If you do have 16 mins and watch it please email me and share your thoughts. Don wrote a high concept film script which I read and enjoyed. This video is an exciting experiment : turning a script into a film using AI. The story is a wild, fun, feel good adventure, set in the future. It seems to fit well into the realm of AI film making.
In a week where there has been so much media attention to Tilly Norwood it feels like an apt time to share the Dragon Hunter here.
