Dragon Hunter

A friend of mine, Don, made this video. Do yourself a favour and have a look – it is 16 minutes. Watch it on a laptop with earphones. You may be entertained or you may not be. But you will be amazed. This video was created with AI. Everything you will see and hear was generated. One guy created this using AI technology, talent and inspiration.

If you do have 16 mins and watch it please email me and share your thoughts. Don wrote a high concept film script which I read and enjoyed. This video is an exciting experiment : turning a script into a film using AI. The story is a wild, fun, feel good adventure, set in the future. It seems to fit well into the realm of AI film making.

In a week where there has been so much media attention to Tilly Norwood it feels like an apt time to share the Dragon Hunter here.

I thought this was a fantastic podcast – great storytelling in the world of cybersecurity.

Dennis Fisher talks with Peter Baker, the founding brand designer at Duo and the man behind the Decipher brand, about his design philosophy, the earliest days of Scio/Duo, why design matters in security, and the influence that positivity and usability has had on the industry.

Some fantastic insights, especially around design when it comes to security products.

  • Security and usability always being opposed to each other
  • The more usable you make security the more insecure it is … that is what everyone thought
  • The more usable we can make it the more secure it is gonna be cos people are gonna be more willing to apply it to more areas of their business
